The Association for Pre- and Perinatal Psychology and Health (APPPAH) www.birthpsychology.com, is an educational non-profit organization dedicated to the in-depth exploration of the psychological, emotional, and social development of babies and parents from preparation for pregnancy through the postpartum period and establishment of breastfeeding.

APPPAH task forces publish the Newsletter and the Journal, hold regional and international conferences, promote research, serve the public with valuable directories and resources, work to enhance the pregnancy experience and prevent birth trauma, and offer training in methods for healing the psychological wounds of pregnancy and birth.
